after taking my unix test, i double-checked my answers for errors. there were a couple questions i wasn’t sure if i had right, so i went back and changed them to what i thought was correct. i hit the submit button and started looking over which questions i got wrong. sure enough, the ones i had changed were correct before i changed them.
i am reading a book about this topic. it’s called “blink” by malcolm gladwell. it details how our gut reactions are mostly correct because they rely on the subconscious.
i doubted my subconscious when taking my unix tests. it didn’t hurt me that much, but i could have had a better grade if i had just went with my instincts.
