yes! i don’t have to buy a tivo now. i thought one of the biggest selling points for the tivo was the ability to skip commercials. if they are feeding you commercials while you are skipping commercials, isn’t that counter-productive? it’s only a matter of time before they start putting tickers and little corner icons all over the tv screen. then you’ll have to cross your eyes like with those magic eye things in order to see the program you are supposed to be watching.

The future is now. When they broadcast World Cup Soccer games they cant break for commercials due to the non stop nature of the game. In order to facilitate this the sponsors pay to have their logo attached to the “score board” that the broadcaster puts on the screen.
