a pimp is a good thing to be

of course true. you can’t answer false to a statement like that! are you crazy? you can’t say a pimp is not something good to be. how can you say that? i can’t say that. ice-frickin’-t wouldn’t be caught dead saying that.

i took another test. i love these things. i’m addicted. it’s basically like you’re taking a psych evaluation, and then the page spits out some weird thematic results. half the time, people just look at the results and think they’re like, ya know, whatever. but the results are not stupid. in fact, they are quite telling. but don’t take my word for it.

The Dante’s Inferno Test has banished you to the Second Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:

Level Score
Purgatory (Repenting Believers) Very Low
Level 1 – Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers) Low
Level 2 (Lustful) Very High
Level 3 (Gluttonous) Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious) Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy) High
Level 6 – The City of Dis (Heretics) Very Low
Level 7 (Violent) Low
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers) Moderate
Level 9 – Cocytus (Treacherous) Low

Okay…are you actually referencing ice-T? Because in that case…I guess a pimp would be a good thing to be…if there were only two jobs in the world.

ice-t used to be a pimp, in case you didn’t know. it seemed relevant. but is any of this relevant?

if you’re offended, unleash some seventh level hell on me. i can take it. i had my care bear hug for today. or, better yet, blog about how much you despise pimping and the degradation of women. put on your feminist pants, dammit!

see, the only reason why i posted it is because people wouldn’t understand what the hell i meant. when i took the dante’s inferno test, one of the true or false questions was “a pimp is a good thing to be” and for some unknown reason, i couldn’t click false. i wanted to. i tried. but it just seemed wrong to click false for that. sure, maybe i gave up purgatory. but all i could think about was ice-t and how, for him, a pimp was a good thing to be.

Whoa…maybe you should take your anger pants off! I was actually asking because I heard an Ice-T interview on npr in which he said there are really only two jobs in the world…there are pimps (employers) and there are hoes (employees)…so I was saying it would be good for some people to be an employer rather than an employee…I just thought maybe you had heard that interview, or some form of it, as well.

Also, while I don’t really care for pimping or for the degradation of women…I don’t think I own any feminist pants.

all i have are anger pants. if i take them off, i have nothing.

i searched the npr archives and found an ice-t interview about the movie “new jack city”. nothing about pimpin’ though.

i found out about his pimpin’ philosophies from the amazing hbo ‘street documentary’ called “pimps up, ho’s down”. it was very informative and also pretty heart-wrenching. hollywood and the media seem to glamorize the prostitution industry, but it’s not that way at all.

why is this comment thread still going?

    nice.

“psyops. p-s-y-o-p-s. i’m learnin’ about that. so you’ll hear about that in a rap.”

i wish i could find this stuff. i do a search and i get new jack city.
