he-man would have known what to do in new orleans. hell, even orko would have known what to do. but they aren’t in positions of power. they’re not even real. just old 80′s cartoons running through my mind, because all i can think about is how i don’t want to think about tragedy anymore.
then we have a rapper who let’s loose on a benefit show. obviously, a hurricane benefit show is not the best forum for voicing opinions, but the beauty of the first amendment is that it’s not selective about speaking your mind. it covers everywhere and everywhen. i’ve watched the video clip twice now, and i can’t help but think that maybe he just didn’t want to read from a script. maybe he just wanted it to come from his heart and his heart was filled with a lot of anger. you can’t deny someone that. the fact that nbc decided to remove the line “george bush doesn’t care about black people” from the west coast broadcast, shows how insane this country has become. i bet this incident will now require censors to watch for controversial political messages in addition to cuss words. i’m glad i don’t watch much tv.
note: if you leave comments on this blog, be aware that if you talk about “poker” or “viagra”, your comment will be held for moderation and may not be posted immediately. i received 50 spam messages today involving t-e-x-a-s poker and viagra. i had already flagged both words as spam words, so the messages never got posted, but needless to say, the attempt was made. also, if the spammer is a person and not a webbot, please be advised that i hate you. i’ve blocked your ip address and i will block any ip address you attempt to post with. please do me a favor and choke on cock.
