nissan’s got this new car. what kind of lame name is pivo? it rhymes with tivo, so i kind of dig it. but what’s the safety rating on that thing? and what’s the top speed? i’m going to hold out for the “hamster ball” concept car. i think it would go over big. you could just be suspended in the center of the sphere and go in any direction you want. don’t ask me how it would work, i’m just the idea man.
or maybe i’m the walrus. and the cable tv is taking forever to get hooked up. i keep checking to see if it’s on, but it’s not. so i wait and wait. waiting and wanting. that’s how i feel right now. i already watched all the stuff tivo recorded in the last 24 hours. i’m running out of things to keep me preoccupied. i’m really excited, not only because i get more programming to tivo with, but because i can finally use my tv tuner card in my computer. i’ve always wanted to try it out.
the bad news is that i think my 17″ crt monitor is going out. after almost 8 years, it’s just about dead. here’s what it does… the picture just goes out periodically, like it was turned off, and then i have to whack the side of it to get it back on. when it first went off, i started panicking because a really bad song had just started playing in itunes, and i didn’t know how to make it stop. it was like i went blind. i had no idea what to do. beating it worked great, though.
In my opinion “beating it” is the answer for everything.
