almost done with the first season of lost. it pulls you in and you can’t get away from it. when we’re not watching it, i read about it online, trying to avoid the spoilers.
many people think the show has some sort of hidden twist… the survivors are dead and the island is heaven. someone is dreaming all of it. alien abduction. ghosts. i don’t think there is anything special going on. maybe some supernatural elements live on the island.
i like the fact that all the characters were lost before the plane crashed. being away from civilization was the only chance they had to move forward.
my hope is that the show will go on forever and they will never be rescued. it would be cool to see what it’s like in 5-10 years.

Isnt it though? That show fricken rules. On the bonus materials disk (disc 7) they talk about how they had the basic outline of the first 5 years mapped out before they finished the trailer.
Oh man…I know just where you’re at right now, and it’s awesome! We would often watch all six episodes we had been sent in one sitting even though we both had to be up early. And even though I don’t normally watch all the extra stuff, the bonus materials disc is totally worth watching too…especially when you’ve just watched the entire first season in about 2.5 weeks and season 2 doesn’t come out for months and you just need to get your fix man, just one little hit.
Hey, the next time you and the little lady are in town we need to have a LOST party! We can all dress up like our favorite character and send out invitations in the shape of a broken off piece of a tiny Oceanic plane in flames. Then we could make appetizers of raw fish and coconuts and watch every single episode ever…you’re up for that, right??
hey, what about next time you’re in my town? i don’t plan on returning for a very, very long time. and we’re going to have a new apartment very soon that could potentially accommodate guests.
anyway, in a couple of years, babybear will be having a lost-themed birthday party. so there’s always that.
yeah so when all you guys come down to visit us we can have a huge LOST party and then we’ll keep you all here forever…it’ll be like your own lost experience. it’ll be fun.
Kato could dress up like Hurley. I’m not sure how he could pull it off though. It’d be nice to see the attempt.
MMMM…bad post to look at. I got the first season of lost at a garage sale for a dollar and have watched the first 6 discs in the last 3 days. I am so tired but now I must watch more lost instead of taking a nap. Thanks a lot I thoght I was going to be productive today.
WHAT!?!? One dollar!? You need to tell me where this garage sale is and when they’ll be selling me season 2 for a dollar!
