we got up and went to ihop for breakfast. the phoenixians had to get back to their dog children, so we dropped them at the airport/rental car area and went to the outlet mall to obtain a postcard.
then we went back to the rental house to chill until it was time to make one last evening trip to the strip.
we mostly just walked around and ate. we saw the bellagio, caesar’s palace, and the mirage. the picture of the trojan horse was taken in the forum shops. i didn’t feel like buying anything there because it was too swanky. i kept thinking paris hilton would walk out of dolce & gabbana, but she’s probably at home crying about her jail sentence.
we stopped at harrah’s to dine in their wonderful buffet. then lost all steam at the mgm grand while playing slots. i won $5 on a penny frog machine. and i also won $20 on an elvis machine. i don’t remember how much i lost, but i know it wasn’t that much. probably $5-10 after winnings.
