a new show called the sarah connor chronicles is being produced for the fox network. it will most likely debut in early 2008, with a spring cancellation presumably planned. fox has a way of cancelling shows without giving them a fair chance. although, in this case, i don’t think i would be too upset if they cancelled this one quickly. which, of course, means it will run for 15 years or until the machines do, in fact, takeover and decide to cancel it because of historical inaccuracies. watch the preview:
i will say this, summer glau is pretty badass. i just wish they wouldn’t have made it so obvious that she’s a terminator. i mean, why? as much as i hate being in the dark, i much prefer the lost method of not telling the viewer anything. keep it mysterious, because that will be what brings me back next week.
and i love cheese as much as the next person, but holy hell was that line a cornball. “come with me if you want to live” only works when it is uttered with an austrian accent.
I am in love with the Terminator movies but that just looks stupid.
