put a bit of minge around it

ghost rider

if you haven’t watched hbo’s extras, you may want to, but only if you liked the bbc office. it’s subtle humour. and i do mean ‘humour’.

the flipside of that coin would be ghost rider. steer clear of this superhero super turd. to be fair, i fell asleep halfway through, but woke up right before the final anti-climax. i missed 45 minutes of the movie, yet i knew exactly what was going on. i went back and watched the big special fx shots of the motorcycle driving up the side of a building.

it would be really nice if one day we could get 30-minute movies filled with nothing but fx shots. no story, no plot, no bad acting. just fanboy spooge-fests. think of how many times a fanboy would go to see a short movie like that. think of how many times it could be played in a day. charge regular price admission and you’ve got some serious dough.

i just wish nic cage would go into early retirement. he’s lost all the magic he only barely ever had. his acting has become quite stale. at least in the wicker man, there were many unintentionally funny parts. even his fake hair seems bored now.

ugh, i HATE him and his movies… he’s almost as annoying of an actor as that david caruso from csi miami…

Did you watch NEXT? AGHH! If i hadnt had a lovely lady with me, I probably would have snapped and ripped the theatre apart with my teeth.

no, i kinda had a feeling about that one. it reminded me of that crapfest paycheck starring ben affleck. take a philip k. dick story, put a bad actor in it, and away you go.
