the point is…

bee

i’ve been saving up my reward points from my credit card to get a large gift card. i hit 10,000 points a few months ago and i had decided to get a $100 target gift card. then i procrastinated and thought, “i’ll just get it next month. no big deal.”

well, i logged on to the site a few days ago to order my gift card so that i could buy lady friend a bad ass christmas present. as i’m searching for the gift card on the site, i notice that all the point levels have jumped. now all the $100 gift cards are 12,000 points not 10,000 like they were a month ago. luckily, i had the extra 2,000 points to still get it, but i’m so pissed right now. it’s that cycling rage that goes away and then comes back and infuriates me every time i remember how i’m being robbed all the time. taxes, point loss, fees, charges… where does it end? i pay this credit card all its service charges and compounded interest crap, and they go and decrease the value of my points.

who needs money anyway?
