they’re saying on cnn that this could be the biggest election since 1908. and if the turnout is over 66%, it will be.
that’s pretty sad when only 66% cared enough to go and vote back in 1908 and now it’s far less than that. i’m sure many voters are disenfranchised and most times i don’t disagree with them. when things like the florida bungle of ’00 happen, it’s kinda hard to convince yourself that your vote matters and that it will actually be counted. never mind the fact that our only two choices are often moderately retarded.
this time is different, though. so do yourself a favor and go make some history.
