we’ve been talking about buying a basic above ground pool for a while. we finally ended up doing it, but just buying the pool is not enough. we had to rake/clear a spot in the backyard for it, which took several days and produced many blisters. then the actual setup of the pool and the filling, which took almost 4 hours. but it’s in, it’s wet, and it feels so nice to just float around looking up at the palm trees and blue skies. occasionally, i’ll swim over to the lemon tree and look up at the nesting morning dove trying to keep her babies safe.
now, i need to figure out how to balance the water out, because i put way too much chlorine in last night.
Have you put Mr. B in it yet. It will only be a matter of time until he figures out how to get in.
bless his little heart. he was circling the pool yesterday trying to sneak in. we’ve decided we’re getting him his own pool.
