Zacs right about the assembly of the pizzas. Pizza Huts sauce comes in a concentrate and the prep person measures and adds water. So unless they got the water from the ocean they probably didnt add to much salt.

I think its funny that youre so willing to wright off a restaurant after one bad pizza. First of all its a major chain so if youre ordering from there the best your going to get is an ok product. Its never going to be as good as a local place. So honestly, what do you expect? You spent less money and got an inferior product. If it was an abnormally bad experience call them up and get your money back, a new pizza or a free pizza next time you order.

Ha, none of these places have "cooks". They have food assemblers. All the stuff gets delivered from a centralized distribution place. They put all the stuff together and throw it in the oven as fast as possible. It could have been a bad batch of sauce or something. If you had complained, you probably could have gotten something free.

I'm not sure when it was, but Pizza Hut changed some of their recipes to be healthier, specifically removing trans fat from their products. Since they did that, their pizza has not tasted very good. We get it occasionally when there is a deal or we're feeling lazy, but rarely do we enjoy the experience. We usually get pizza from a local place called Magpie's that uses fresh dough and ingredients. The big chains just aren't worth it anymore.

hey, speaking of declining quality in food service products.... has anyone (you) noticed the disgusting change in pizza hut. pizza's? the last time we got their pizza (about a year ago), the effing sauce was extremely salty with a bitter undertone flavor. we couldn't finish the pizza, it was that bad. i wonder if they changed the sauce ingredients permanently or it was just an idiot cook that particular day who possibly made a tragic mistake?

either way,, we'll never be ordering from there again.

That's the only thing good about Domino's: it's cheap. I don't mind patronizing them, because in the long run, they don't stand much chance.

I'm thinking the only way I'll ever buy anything from them again is if they bring back CinnaDots or Twisty Bread (for nostalgic purposes). But I remember eating the Twisty Bread way back when I was a kid, and the bread and the dipping sauce were both really tasty. I think if they brought it back now, it would just be the crap they currently have, which tastes like cardboard and ketchup, only it would be twisted.
